Team Stephanie - Fighting Ewing Sarcoma

Stephanies Story

Team Stephanie Fundraiser 💛

In March 2025, Stephanie, our bright and caring 16-year-old cheerleader, was diagnosed with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer that affects the bones or soft tissues, most common in children and young adults.
Since her diagnosis, Stephanie has shown extraordinary courage through months of chemotherapy, major surgeries, and countless hospital stays. Stephanie has just had her 4th surgery last week and is about to embark on more chemotherapy. This campaign aims to help Stephanie and her family manage the financial strain that comes with treatment.
Our mission is to ensure that Stephanie and her family never have to face this fight alone. We want to give them the peace of mind to focus on healing and togetherness not financial stress. By coming together as a community, we can help Stephanie and her family focus on what matters most Stephanie’s recovery.

Stephanie’s Journey:

After being diagnosed, Stephanie began an intensive course of chemotherapy, followed by surgery in September. What was meant to be one surgery has now turned into four very tough operations, each one testing her strength and spirit in unimaginable ways.
Stephanie is now preparing to begin more chemotherapy, continuing her brave fight against this rare and aggressive cancer.
Early in her journey, Stephanie was faced with a life-changing decision, whether to undergo egg retrieval treatment to preserve her fertility. With incredible bravery and maturity, she chose to go ahead, and after four long weeks, the procedure was successful.
In April, Stephanie began her first chemotherapy sessions. She spent much of her time in hospital between April and September, often becoming unwell from the intensity of treatment and recurring infections. Because of these challenges, her doctors decided to bring her surgery forward to early September. She spent a full month in hospital during this period, enduring three major surgeries in just a few weeks.
By October, Stephanie was finally able to return home to rest and recover but heartbreakingly, she had to undergo another major surgery last week, just as she thought she was on the road to recovery.
Her battle has not only been physically demanding, but also deeply emotional. She’s had to give up cheer and dance, the activities that once brought her so much joy, and she’s had to pause her college education. Despite all these challenges, Stephanie continues to show remarkable strength, courage, and determination.
We are so deeply proud of her, for her resilience, her bravery, and her unbreakable spirit. 💛
